To work out the size of liner required you simply measure the pond at it’s longest, widest and deepest!
Using these measurements and this simple formula you can calculate liner amount
if you measure in feet
Length + 2 x depth + 2 ft ( overlap for securing liner )
width + 2 x depth + 2ft
example of a pond measuring 8ft long x 6ft wide x 2ft deep
8 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 14 ft
6 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 12 ft
liner required 14ft x 12ft
if measuring in metre’s use the same formula as above but overlap amount is equal to 0.6 of a mtr!
